For starters the car is a very unique vehicle. I bought this car from a good friend of mine whom I have known from many PCA events. He had custom ordered the car brand new and waited a year for it to be delivered! It's a one owner car prior to my owning it and my friend took fanatical care of this car. It has been maintained and cared for meticulously by TPC (very reputable Porsche facility in MD) and has been cared for with a no expense spared attitude from it's in-service date until present. The car is a custom order non sunroof vehicle which due to the specifics (996 turbos used sunroof pre cut bodies this one had to be pulled from the GT2 and RS roof line-up) took a year to have delivered with special premium supple leather package interior done in Red with black accents. The car runs and looks perfect, never been smoked in, no accidents or damage with all original paint and body. The car has been extremely well maintained both appearance wise (Paint/interior/exterior/detail) and mechanics (things like engine oil changes, transmission oil changed every other engine oil change etc...they went overboard with everything to ensure it was perfect each time and every time) and not a single leak or squeak, she's very tight and really feels great to drive and look at. I have the original Certification of Authenticity, all documents including original window sticker and all accompanying documentation as well as invoices, parts bills and service history.
Please find pics and information posted on the thread below. I have talked about the specifics and details of the car in Post #10, including information of tasteful mods and factory upgrades. I am looking for serious buyers only as time is very important. If the GT2 I am looking at sells then I will keep this car surely, in fact I am getting brand new paint protection film re-done this week so that's a freebee to the new buyer at my expense if the car sells

Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from the seriously interested folks. She's a fantastic car, you are surely getting one very unique and brilliant car should you choose to buy it.

165 views and no posts, did I post this on a Jeep grand cherokee forum haha !!!!
Seriously it's a great car, and this is a feeler to see if I can eventually find my way into a GT2...
If the car doesn't sell I'll keep and enjoy her, she's a unique car...looks and drives brilliant... and has some very rare options and fully documented one owner historal records...if I kept her all I would really do is get the massive calipers done in yellow, put a set of Bilstien coilovers and maybe do the wheel lips in body color, she's making great power and running like a top so don't want to mess with that part too much.
I am also open to trades...preferably my car + cash for GT2 but I'm open to what else is out there... tell me what you've got.
happy hunting

thanks guys for the kind words...its' a tough market for cars like this it seems...lots of buyers looking for cars in the 30K range many of which were high dollar cars when new and stunning performers..
My car is a pretty unique turbo, with some quite rare options and color combo...I think you guys are spot on - the right buyer will take value in those things as I have when I bought the car from a good friend who ordered it new from Porsche...

Actually I don't have the stock wheels...but they are the hollow smoke twists and can be had pretty readily and for very fair prices on the forum classifieds...they come up for sale often and there are wheel repair online places that always have sets for sale for good deals (taken off wheel upgrade trade ins from customers)

bump...just as an update, I have an interested party who saw and test drove my car over the weekend, we are working on the deal/sale next steps presently. We spent a significant amount of time with the car and he is very motiviated and happy with what he saw and drove.
If for any reason this should fall through the car's price will be lowered to $55K or best offer. I have a deposit going in this week, so as such my X50 needs to go.
thanks
