I totally agree, bought my car in Portland Oregon and had it shipped to Buffalo New York (was not cheap). I could not find the right car on the East coast during my search.

OP, it's a beautiful car and GLWS.

AriS4: Thanks for the comments. I don't have the original seats. "s14roller" posted some additional interior shots.

s14roller: As always, thanks Jack, for posting all the information and pictures. You're the best.

biobanker: That will be one fast kid hauler. LOL. It was great talking to you yesterday. I'll keep you posted if an opportunity comes along to swap seats on the car.

8ull8ear: Thanks for the comments.

SLVR-GTstreet: Let's see if we can meet up next Saturday. Photoshoot of the twin car and twin 3 month old daughters. LOL. I'll PM you my email address and phone #.

biobanker is infamous around these parts
Jack - can you please email me at ddean73 [at] gmail.com as to what the modifications are to the back seat area. Im looking to better understand what I need to do to put back seats back there again. Did you put a GT3 delete in? New carpets required? Seatbelts back there at all?

Could this car make a 2200 mile trip across the country with out incident? How has reliability been? When were the engine modifications done? I am very interested but would hate to ship such a great car if I could spend a weekend driving it back!

sunir:Thanks for the comments. I guess the exterior of the car was too sexy that my brother didn't bother taking interior shots. LOL..

biobanker: It looks like the back is only carpet. No seatbelts. I took some quick pictures of the back today and will post up.

NMSV8V: The car has been extremely reliable so I don't see why it would have any issues with the long drive. Last year I had the clutch accumulator replaced. Vision Motosports in Laguna Hills performed the service and I have the paper work, but you are free to call them to discuss as well. Not sure when the engine mods were done because I'm not the original owner. I would have to check paperwork from EVOMS.

I don't think anything special was done in the back other than remove what was needed to fit the Porsche roll-cage. With that said, you would need to just replace the seats + belts. The seats are just these small pieces and ppl on the forum sell them for cheap. I have a friend that may have the seat pieces laying ard as he just did a delete back there.

Either case, not a big job or expensive by any means. Probably a few hundred gets everything done.

It would make the trip no problem...remember, what's more important is thinking about what the car has gone through. For most of a highway trip, the car won't be under boost. The car isn't tuned by some small shop...it was shipped to EVO for them to do the install+tune...so even under harsh conditions, the car will be reliable.

I have no stake in this car but it was truly great when I had it, which why I'm so into answering questions about it...

Just want to clarify a couple of things to help the seller out:

1) it's a turbo, it came with rear seats...so unless mods were done to remove anchoring points (like you would do on a race car and clearly not what this car is specifically intened for) and the sort the new buyer should be able to put rear seats back in on any turbo.

2) This car should easily be able to make a journey cross country, the mods are well chosen and nothing seems to be done to jeopardize driveability. This said it is unfair for the seller to guarentee anything outside of the given specifications and service records. There are too many variables involved that is out of the sellers control when one asks this type of question. One thing for sure any tickets you get is on you lol ... bring a V1...when I drove my SL55 from LA to DC I caught no less than 14 bogies!!!
