Thanks for the notes and encouragment. Thanks for the extra eyes and ears out there, too.

Beware State Farm; they claim homeowners doesn't cover any "auto parts". Not "personal property" for coverage purposes. Nothing, zip, nada for anything they can call an "auto part." Yet, they proudly proclaim on page 1 of the policy brochure that State Farm Homeowners protects your "personal property" any where in the world, no matter how far it may be from your house. Huh, picking out those "auto parts" sure felt "personal" to me and certainly was my "property".

This makes me worry I have SF with a full umbrella policy for home and autos... will call my SF agent and discuss.

Happy to report race car recovered, mostly intact. Still lost some very important things taht are still missing (gifts from my wife, Sunny, and family), but getting the stripped trailer back last week and the race car back today is huge!

Thank you all for your support, ideas and extra energy and encouragment.
