NICE, my first 911 was 87...I still miss it. Those cars are so raw compared to today's 911's. I remember when I traded-in for my wife's 98 C2S...on the way home we thought we were driving in a Lexus! (meaning driving her C2S).

Thank you. Also owning a 997, it's not an issue of better or worse. It's a completely different thing. AND I will say that there is nothing like the build quality of these earlier cars. The 'snap' that sounds when one gently closes the door. The thickness of the steel and the hardness of the paint. Amazing.

Thank you. It was in excellent shape when I bought it, but I think I've improved it by paying attention to detail of the last bits and bobs.
