Thanks for viewing my ad. I have decided to sell my Corvette in order to fund some more project builds. I wish I could afford to keep all of my project cars, but I have to sell them to build the next ones. And I build a lot of project cars...
2009 Corvette Z06 package 2LZ with 14.6K miles. About 4K of those were the Hotrod Power Tour in 2010. We built the car to be featured in the Nitto Tire booth for that week long event. I'm the original owner, it was purchased from a dealer in Lansing, Michigan. I wanted the rare red/black interior, they were the only ones in the country that had this combo at the time. The car has been a blast to build and own, and I've been using it for my 100 mile work commute at least 2 times per week lately. No accidents, no paint work, no door dings, no scratches, not even any swirl marks. The car just got a Mobil-1 oil change and fresh spark plugs yesterday, and is detailed and ready to go.
Modifications:

616 rwhp and 581 ft-lbs torque SAE Dynojet (700 hp crank) http://i466.photobucket.com/albums/r...ette/dyno1.jpg
The car has gone 179 mph in the standing mile, and went 10.67 @ 134 mph in the 1/4 this past Friday night.
$65K with the parts listed above. Some of the OEM parts can be purchased for an additional amount. Just the wheels/tires alone cost over $9K when I bought them. Add up the parts list, you'll see how quickly my projects can get out of hand.
So, how does it compare to the beloved ZR1 you might ask? For about half the price, it compares like this: http://i466.photobucket.com/albums/r...e/Z06vsZR1.jpg

How about a few in-car vids. 179 mph pass in the standing mile. This was on the 20" HRE wheels as shown above.

50-145 mph pass on an airstrip vs 650 rwhp Viper (I won by 2 cars):

No prob. The navigation was optional, but the OEM one is garbage anyways. I've had that unit in a few GM cars already. Here are the items that are added in the 2LZ:
2LZ PREFERRED EQUIPMENT GROUP:
BOSE PREMIUM 7 SPEAKER SYSTEM
(REPLACES STD/OPT/PKG RADIO)
1 YEAR XM SATELLITE RADIO
PWR TELESCOPING STEERING WHEEL
HEATED SEATS
MEMORY SEAT PACKAGE
UNIVERSAL HOME REMOTE
LUGGAGE SHADE & CARGO NET
BLUETOOTH FOR PHONE
For the 3LZ, they add the leather wrapped dash and door panels.

Shoot, you saw my stupid question before edit.
"Hey look, there's no NAV unit in the pics or vid"
I have to sleep on things but where are you? Looks like Spring/Woodlands area maybe???
I lived off Memorial Park GC a ways back.

Not a problem! Just FYI, but I always see guys selling their factory NAV's over on Corvetteforum. Simple plug-n-play unit, if you had to have one. I believe there are some better aftermarket units available that still retain the steering wheel controls and Bluetooth functions.
Yes, I'm in The Woodlands area.
If you guys are curious about what it would take to build this car starting with a stock Z06, I've done the math for you. Kinda makes me sad!
Z06 was $73K if I remember correctly.

Man if I were only ready to buy now!
I can not wait to get my house done, next up... highly modified something, not sure yet what, but something. This would have surely made the cut!
Beautiful car op!

Not replacing it, but I am finishing my Viper build and then building another high end '69 Camaro. Twin-turbos, LSX powered, etc...
