I've seen it in person and I just don't get the appeal of the SLR. I certainly wouldn't trade my GT3 for one, even straight up.

Only a poser would buy that thing over a CGT.

yeah, i don't get this car, but maybe if i had a half mill. lying around...yeah, no, probably still wouldn't get it.

Yah, no way I'd pay for that - I'd take a CGT over that anyday.

It's kind of weird that MBZ gave the SL65 almost as much hp and more tq than the SLR. I think I'd take a CLK DTM though.

for that much id buy the cgt anyday.. it's a better car aesthetically and perfomance wise...

How is this car able to demand a higher price than the CGT, what did porsche severly mess up on?

IMO the SLR is nothing more than a Dodge Viper...so why waste 550k on a car when you can buy the same performance for about 80/90k...not to mention it is way too heavy and should perform way better!
