How are you managing boost with the fully open exhaust? ECU mods? Stock Injectors? Love the color. Next owner needs to change the stock IC GLWS and always love FD's

 

It is not a full open exhaust, their is a resonator inside the midpipe that adds enough restriction to keep boost in control. You can see it in the pic below of the exhaust before I installed it, I also have the stock cat too. The stock IC is fine for the power it is making, don't always believe what you read on rx7club.

Very cool, surprised it hasn't sold for over 4 months! I would love to buy it but can't spend more than $20K total for a car (with nice wheels ha). Also, just would like a 2000 or newer car as well because I know how hard it would be to sell this if I had to, GLWS!

 

i can do $19,999 by exchanging the feed exhaust and replacing with the stock midpipe and nice Ganador SS exhaust I have.

 

I can't believe you did all of that gorgeous work to a car with the automatic transmission out of a MPV mini-van (that isn't a joke). I too made a rookie mistake years back and bought an RX-7 with the automatic transmission. Didn't take me long to realize the mistake I had made and I got rid of it after only 6 months. I'll never forget the first time I let my then girlfriend (now wife) drive it. We were waiting at a stop light to turn left and I told her...the transmission sucks in this car so when you get on the gas it's going to feel like it's not going anywhere all that quickly so you're going to want to give it more gas...don't... because the second we get into that turn the boost will kick in and we'll be sideways...sure enough.... sideways we were. They ruined that car by putting that auto trans in it.

 

Auto to manual isn't uncommon with the FD, have a few buddies who've done it.

18k, ganador ss exhaust and you bring your own wheels.
