This is a carefully modded 2006 R1 50th ver. with 1100 ORIGINAL miles.
Never down, never tracked, always ridden carefully. It is my 'vanity' bike (I had track bikes for hard use).
I have ALL the original parts, including the original tires on the original wheels.
And here is a list of mods:
- GYTR Carbon R1 Tank Pad
- GYTR Air filter
- Graves Full Titanium / Carbon Exhaust ($1200)
- License plate relocation w/ LED plate light bracket
- New F/R Turn Signals
- Bar end sliders
- Swingarm spools
- Clutch slider (R&G)
- Frame Sliders (Motovation) and axle sliders
- 16/47 Gearing w/ DID 520 ERV3 chain
- Speedo healer
- Power Commander III
- Graves Velocity Stacks
- Graves rear brake assist spring
- Yamaha Solo seat
- Puig Double Bubble windscreen
- Sato rear sets ($450)
- Vortex billet gas cap
- Billet upper triple clamp
- STM Slipper Clutch ($1000)
- Braking rear wave rotor
- Galfer HH rear brake pads
- Manual Fan Switch
- quick(er) turn throttle mod
- Pazzo brake levers
- Galfer F/R stainless brake lines
- Ohlins Front Fork (R/T) with superbike anti-dive valving ($2250 w/ SBK valves)
- Ohlins rear shock (Graves Spec- $1200 new, $750 used))
- Ohlins adjustable steering damper ($350)
- Galfer front wave rotors ($500)
- BST Carbon Fiber Wheels ($3000 on the used market- these are spotless)
- Pirelli Corsa III tires
- Graves block off plates
- LE version adjustable rear suspension linkage ($600 if you can find one)
- Gilles passenger pegs/black peg mounts
- Brembo billet front brake calipers ($1300 new, $1000 used)
- GYTR Carbon front fender/BST rear hugger/GYTR chain guard
The suspension is tuned for a 200-240lb rider.
Asking $15999 relatively firm. Add up the parts and I can part it out for more than that- which I will as a last resort- it would be a shame to break it up as it's such a well put together package.
For sale in the Los Angeles area. NO TEST RIDES WITHOUT CASH IN HAND. PERIOD. I didn't abuse/flog or drop this bike- neither will you (unless you bought it ).

I don't really care at this point- if it sells it sells. If not I can part out the mods and sell the bike for $7K and come out WAY ahead. I'd just rather not part out such a nicely built machine if there is a right buyer out there.
Wheels alone would sell tomorrow for $3000- Brembo HP calipers an easy $1000, Suspension a conservative $2500, STM slipper an easy $800-900. List goes on and on.
Unlike some, I kept all the OEM parts, so this is easily done. Most mods were added around 950 miles, so these are just about new parts. And I kept all the boxes for easy easy sales.

PS- I did sell a highly modded DRZ400 for fair value a few years back. I also had a Ducati 748 which did not sell complete for $7500, but sold parted out (and stock) later for $11000 total. I would have rather sold it as a finished bike, but whatever. Money is money.
