Hey guys,

Kevin and I are in the planning stages of building something a lot faster and decided this one was too rare and nice to go beyond a Stage 1 R. This is a proven car that is arguably the current fastest roll-on car in the country (along with of course a couple other Stage 1 R SL’s)

I bought the car stock with approximately 9600 miles last May. It has all the factory options except Carbon-Ceramic brakes. I have been told it is 1 of 8/9 white SL’s in the country. I believe UR has built 4 of them. It has every option that you can possibly buy from UR including Motec, fully built e-gear trans (including gears), billet final drive (225 mph), new OEM diff, and their Stage 1 R build that dyno'd a bit over 1550 on C16 and approximately 1050 on pump. I don't believe there is another stage 1 R build with all these included options.

It is currently being stored at Underground's warehouse in Charlotte, NC. The condition is absolutely perfect inside and outside. After taking delivery from UR in June 2011, I immediately took it to Todd at Esoteric in Columbus, OH for a full 40 hour detail. Needless to say, the paint condition, carbon fiber, and interior all look nicer than it did in the showroom. You will not find a nicer condition 2008 SL. There are no chips, nicks, or scratches anywhere. I then installed a Premier Satin Clear Bra over the entire car (50 hours). It looks gorgeous. Maintenance is now minimal (it is also fully removable if you prefer the stock gloss white). Lastly, my body and paint guy spent about 80 hours installing an aftermarket LP570 carbon front bumper. Those of you who know me know I am a perfectionist and so is Bill West. The gaps, paint work, and cleared carbon splitter look OEM. The OEM bumper will be included. There have been no accidents or paint work except for the installation of the LP 570 front bumper.

I have much more invested in this build than my asking price. Mechanically, the car has been completely been inspected and everything is perfect. I am not serious buying but I am serious window shopper and I would like a test drive it so I can think about it really long and hard about how much I can't afford it.

Jamie, how does this thing compare to the supra on the highway? Im sure its quicker but how does it feel in comparison?

John, check out the video against Tag and you'll find your answer. The power is more linear than a Supra, not to mention it's much more civilized for a street car compared to the Supras we're used to driving.
