This is the finest example you'll find of a pre-facelift V8 Vantage. 6-speed Graziano manual transmission in the classically-proportioned coupe body. Totally clean Carfax, no accidents. Garage-kept, no kids or pets in the car. There is a Clearbra covering the entire hood, front bumper, front fenders, exterior mirrors, and the vulnerable area of the rear fenders. No rock chips at all! Just a little scuffing on the underside of the front lip - let the pictures speak for themselves. Please excuse the water discoloration on the brakes, it was just washed/waxed with a full Leatherique treatment on the interior. Wheels have brake dust protectant on them - buildup is much slower than stock, and they're just rinse-and-go now. The Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position tires only have ~1000 miles on them. Perhaps most importantly, holes for the front plate were never drilled, although the front plate is provided in the trunk.
Exterior Color: Grigio Titanio (build-to-order color option from Ferrari's palette)
Interior Color: Charcoal (Aston Martin's standard black) with contrasting white stitching
27000 miles (car was a daily driver for myself and the second owner. These cars behave better driven several times a week.)
Both keys and leather-bound owner's manual
This car was ordered with just about every desirable option:
Xenon headlights
900w Alpine sound system ("Vantage Premium Audio")
Navigation
Bluetooth
Memory seats (driver and passenger)
Homelink remote system
19" 7-spoke wheels
Power-folding rearview mirrors
Brilliant silver front grille
I've installed a Dension Gateway 500 for iPod/USB/Aux integration, as none was available from the factory on this model-year. The iPod cable is in the center armrest and the USB/Aux is under the glovebox at the end of the passenger footwell.
I am the third owner and have only had the car for three months. I'm selling due to our first pregnancy and the need for something with backseats
Service history available from Aston Martin of Marin. Full details are available starting with 2009, when the car began its maintenance history at AM of Marin. I have retained a copy of the complete 2009-and-on maintenance records for your review.
First owner: Virginia, two years (serviced at Aston Martin Tysons Corner)
Second owner: California, two years (serviced at Aston Martin of Marin)
Myself: serviced at Aston Martin of Marin
The car has only been serviced by official Aston Martin dealerships, complete with book stamps. I just had the 48-month service completed 100 miles and 3 weeks ago, so there will be no service due until 60 months or 10,000 more miles. During the 48-month service, carbon buildup was found on the throttle body (common on gently-driven cars) and the entire throttle body was replaced under California emissions warranty. I also had the front plastic splitter replaced because it was scuffed.
On to the blemishes. As you can see in the pictures, the passenger side leather trim near the window is beginning to pull up a little. This is caused by AM's "eco-glue" deteriorating over time in the sunlight, and this happens on just about every Aston. I was quoted $700 by AM for replacing the leather, or an upholstery shop can re-glue the leather for less. Also, there is a little bit of scuff on the driver's seat where the parking brake rubs against the seat (see pictures). The brakes also squeak on the first application if the car hasn't been driven in a couple days. The squeal immediately goes away after the first stop. This is fairly normal for the high-spec Pagid OEM brake pads. Mechanically, the car needs absolutely nothing. When I had an AM pre-purchase inspection done on the car (documentation available), the only items noted were the 48-month service was due, the leather was pulling, and the throttle body had carbon buildup.
Please email for a showing, and bring payment (cash, cashier's check) if you wish to drive yourself. Personal checks or money orders accepted if you're OK with waiting for the payment to clear. Note that there is a lien held by my credit union: we can make payment in person to have the lien removed immediately and the title transfer arranged. This is the third car I've sold with a lien - credit unions make it easy.
Thanks for looking!
