It's the '96 12hrs of Sebring class winner. My car has the same front aero treatment sans flared widebody (I was going do a GT2 conversion but decided against it; maybe the buyer can).

Deal fell through, back up for sale. And yes, its possible to convert AWD to RWD. A lot of threads explaining it step by step. In a nutshell, remove the torque tube, the front axels, and the front differential. View below, found this picture on the net of what components are removed. Takes out another 100lbs.

Just got oil change and had my mechanic check everything. Zero leaks, zero fault codes. Solid car. I had him decouple the drive shaft so its essentially a RWD now (fully reversible, testing if I like the way it feels). Interested in trades - 997.2, e46 m3 convertible, rx7, ducati s2r1000 to name a few on my want list.
