The car is in immaculate condition. Everything runs and drives perfectly. I've driven this car over 5K miles with the swaps without a single hiccup. Drove it too and from the dragon and too and from Toronto (with 6 hours of dead stopped traffic) without issue. The car is built to perfection. It's like it rolled off VW's assembly line as is. Now that the project is completed and I've enjoyed the car, I'm looking to move on to something else.
The car is fully ready to pass inspection. It does have high-flow cats. Car currently has 45K miles. I'm not sure how many miles the motor or transmission have. But they've been fully worked by Innovative Motorsports, so they're in excellent shape.
There are a number of people that I imagine would be willing to vouch for the car.

South bend clutch isn't all that aggressive because of my back issues. You might want to upgrade it if you want to launch to the car.

Thanks.
This car isn't a car you can get at a dealer. Hence, one of one. It started as an R32 with an automatic gearbox and a 3.2L port injected motor.
The car originally stickered out around 35K
I've invested a huge amount of money (about 120K) building the ultimate hot hatch. It's got a 3.6L direct injection motor with a 6-speed manual gear box and all wheel drive.

not to be a dik, and dont take this the wrong way , but 45k for a golf wih 40k on the clock, what makes this so significant?i mean its mods , but its not like a special edition from the factory or anything like that right?

This isn't a car that was ever made. It's completely transformed using OEM parts into a car that VW should have made in 2008. Not what they did.
The R32 it started life as was a limited edition car (only 5K made)
A stock R32 makes ~170 awhp through the DSG gear box from it's standard 3.2L port injection motor.
My car makes ~290 awhp through the 6-speed manual gear box from the 3.6L direct injected VR6 motor.
There isn't a single other Golf R36 in the United States. There isn't another Golf R36 in the world that is an MK5 that is a 6MT. This is the only Golf MK5 R car in the US that is a manual gear box.
If you're not a VW person, I don't expect you to get it.
Also, you had it backwards, 45K miles, 40K asking price.
