what is "K&N drop in with charcoal filter delete"?

K&N filter is for the engine

charcoal filter is for the cabin, why would you remove that?

You're thinking of the cabin filter. The charcoal filter is an extra filter inside the airbox designed to prevent the fumes of unburnt fuel from deep within the engine from escaping into the atmosphere, after you shut the car off. I'm sure Al Gore could explain it better. Deleting it is an upgrade for airflow.
