A while ago, I bought this car thinking that I could afford the maintenance on it. However, with respect to some health problems that I didnt see coming and the high price of college tuition, I have to put my dreams of tracking a Porsche on hold and step it down to a showroom stock SCCA car... . So without further ado, here is the car.

This is a '74 porsche 914 that was built by Jon Griesenbeck who owns Euro Specialties way back when. There were $20k just in parts put into the car, without labor and the actual car itself. Jon sold the car to a VET and his son in my hometown who sold the car to me after he decided to focus on his other hobby (horses). We think the car got some water in the webar carbs so we had to rebuld the top end of the engine and put on new webars (48 IDA Webar Carbs) along with a good bit more work that was done at KMA racing. I have the work order which a copy is available on request.

The bad:
the car has some small rust bubbles which are not very noticable and easily fixed. I can have Euro Specialties give an estimate to fix if buyer would like. The cars track tires are shot so buyer will have to buy a set of slicks to go on the track wheels (there are 2 sets of wheels) but the street tires are good.

Mileage:
The car has less than 500 miles on the newly built engine, however, the odometer has been disabled since before I have owned the car.

Price:
In a good economy I have seen comparable cars go for mid 20's and into the 30's. At this point, I need the money and am willing to talk on price, however, low ballers will be ignored.

Location:
The car is located in Roanoke, VA. I will be going home for Christmas break soon and I can trailer the car to buyer if within a reasonable distance. If buyer is not in reasonable distance then shipping is up to buyers expense.

I autocrossed the car a few weeks ago and won my class. It is a STRONG engine and is a great track car that can be enjoyed on sunday drives!

I am open to any and all questions and more pics are available on request! Also, some see the wing as a little hokie but it is removable though it is indeed a functional wing.

Thanks Yall! And I have been a lurker on this forum for a while now and I appreciate and enjoy the ammount of knowledge that is evident here!

Cheers!
Dan Wendell
