1969 SS/RS camaro FS or Trade

Mileage: 3500
Color: White with Orange Stripes
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CA
Transmission: Automatic

***UPDATE***

Just sent the car to have the radio sorted (installing a dedicated sub amp, Dynomat, and a couple of extra speakers among other things) and the car rewired. Rather than chase a short, I'm having my guy rewire the whole car. So, the new owner will have a freshly wired car and a sorted audio system.

Here a few videos (also posted below) that I've taken for a few interested parties:

It is a black plate, white with orange stripes (under the clear) restomod RS/SS - it matches my 2011 camaro. As far as I know it is a true RS/SS. It was a Van Nuys build so it's hard to tell but I was told the 12 bolt is original to the car and it is my understanding that 12 bolt rears only came with the SS. I searched for this car for a year and bought it from a guy in Chico, CA who owned the car for 30 years before restoring it. I have his receipts which are over $60k (that does not include the car itself) and mine which are close to $10k. Based on his documentation, the paint alone was over $20k. I would be asking around $50k. I may be interested in a trade for equal or lesser value as long as it's not a project and it's in excellent condition. I'm pretty picky, so make it good.

Here's the list of the build from the guy I bought the car from. I have since installed the FAST EZ-EFI fuel injection system as the carb was a menace on hot days. It now runs great and starts immediately with the turn of the key. I have also spent a grip of cash fixing odds and ends over the last year and a half. You could not build this car for the price.

Here's part of his original listing:

Still for sale - had some interest but no cash.

Also would consider an interesting trade. I've flirted with the idea of a comparable valued F-car (328, 348, 355) 2002-2004 Porsche TT, Noble, Rossion, Ariel Atom, Backdraft or Superformance cobra, etc... May be interested in trading up down or sideways. I've had the camaro for 4 years and am just looking for a different experience. Thanks!

The new one sold a couple of weeks ago. It was in perfect shape.

The headlight covers are available from Ohio Speed. I can't remember the manufacturer but they looked great.

Thanks,
Matt

Just sent the car to have the radio sorted (installing a dedicated sub amp, Dynomat, and a couple of extra speakers among other things) and the car rewired. Rather than chase a short that caused a fouled 02 sensor, I'm having my guy rewire the whole car. I learned the hard way that sometimes it's cheaper to eradicate a problem than try to fix it. So, the new owner will have a freshly wired car and a sorted audio system.

I like the way your wheels turned out. I don't think I've ever seen that done on a 69. Can you tell me where you got the hubcaps? Sorry if I missed it in your write-up.

Thanks! I get a ton of compliments on them. The hub caps are GM police caps that have some hand painted detail work.
