Up for sale is a 2006 Ducati Sport Classic, with some very rare and sought after mods. This Low mileage bike is very special for a few reasons mentioned below. The bike runs smooth, has super low miles and has been babied by it's previous 2 owners. As you may know, the 2006 model was the only year sport classic where they made a monoposto / dry clutch bike. 2007-2009 included bi-posto wet clutch sport classics. This makes the 2006 highly desireable with the trademark dry-clutch sound.

The tank will be replaced under Warranty by Ducati North America prior to the owner picking it up. Most Ducati's with plastic tanks during this era had issues with tank expansion due to the ethanol in our Gas. Sealing new tanks with Caswell ($300 labor included) seems to be the only fix for this issue. This Bike will have the tank replaced with a brand new one through Ducati and is ready to have the tank treated and sealed. Make sure you check any Ducati sport classic tank in person for expansion or warping before buying.

The bike includes Ohlins Suspension front and rear. Any Sport Classic Enthusiast will tell you how much of a difference these Race Bred forks and shocks make on these bikes. Having owned the stock suspension before, I can tell you the stock suspension is a joke. This suspension is discontinued, good luck finding a used set.

Finally, the bike includes a Termignoni 2-1 exhaust. This exhaust has been discontinued and is arguably the best exhaust for the bike. Try finding any set new or used on ebay or craigslist.

I am located in Orange County CA and the bike is available for viewing. Any rides must be accompanied by cash in full.
