I am the third fanatical BMW CCA owner. Previous BMWCCA Concours 2nd place finisher. The paint is in amazing condition, but has the usual very small rock chips on the hood where the clear bra wasn’t able to protect it. Interior is in great condition with brand new OMP racing seats. Since owning thecar, I have spent thousands replacing any worn rubber and plastic parts (hoses, belts, bushings, radiator mounts, and tons of other parts), and putting the correct type of upgraded parts on the car. As you can see from the list below, nothing was skimped on. The car has been garaged all its life and totally pampered, though driven regularly so this is no garage queen waiting for problems to pop up. Zero accidents or paintwork, clean title. Zero rust. All VIN tags on all body panels intact.

This car would make either a great daily driver and occasional track day car or go all out and turn it into a full on racer. The half cage is ready to be built out into a full cage if the next owner desires. Email fzchang@gmail.com if interested.

Very nice car, has all the right stuff. I probably would have started out asking a few grand less, but none the less, it looks like a very nicely built M3. But we aren't here to comment on price, best of luck with your sale! Hope it goes to another enthusiast.

Thanks. I know the asking price on the high side, esp for an E36. But this car is setup really nice and in amazing condition. You'll be hard pressed to find another one this clean. It's just one of those things where if the right buyer who wants this kind of setup comes along maybe it'll go. With the amount of $$$ I have in it (over $40k), anyone who ends up with it would be saving a ton. I'm not really in a hurry to sell it, but if the right deal comes along I'll part with her.

Thanks guys. Posting some pics of the interior and the bar, showing the high quality of the roll cage. Car really must be seen in person to appreciate the quality and condition of the whole thing.

Haven't dyno'd the car to see what the power curve looks like. The main advantage of the 3.2 conversion is the fatter torque band and it comes on sooner. Putting the S50 manifold on it, Euro HFM, CAI, TMS chip, Dinan Exhaust probably puts it in the 275-285 HP range, but that's just a guesstimate based on figures others have gotten from those mods.
