August Allocation 2006 Z06 427
Holy Moly! There are 3 2006 Z06's on EBAY as I write this, with one auction about to end at $35,300 OVER MSRP. I have an August Allocation which will be ordered in the next week or two with the options still open. This car will be sold at MSRP ($65,800 plus any options) and will be delivered either in September or October. Many dealers are stating they will be asking at least $30,000 over MSRP. I will sell my allocation for the best offer I receive this week.

Those eBay auctions are a joke.
The buyers always back out claiming they thought they were getting the car for that price. The values you claim they set are bogus.
I've bid on a few in the past just for kicks. Each time I was outbid but the seller came back begging me to buy their allocation at a much lower price than where the auction closed.
Buyer beware.

Just an FYI, lots of dealers, in particular the largest Corvette dealers in the country are not marking up the cars at all. I can see paying a couple of thousand to jump to the front of the line but even 5-10K over for a mass produced Chevy product is pretty f'n dumb.
The largest one here in Phoenix openly admitted they would try to get 10-20K over for their first two but were pretty confident the premiums would evaporate rather quickly.
That said. Hot car, kudos to Chevy.
