2000 Z3M Roadster for sale, turbo, 454 RWHP

Mileage: 93000
Color: Black/black
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing

Transmission: Manual

After some thought, I've decided to put the car I've owned for a month up for sale. Below is an excerpt from the previous owner, who owned the car for a decade prior to me buying it. It will have fresh PA inspection/emissions prior to pickup, since it's getting taken care of in a few days.

It's a 2000 Cosmos/black M Roadster with 93k on the odometer. I've put about 500 miles on the car since purchase, including driving it back from Virginia. Once getting it here, I started working on fixing some issues that came with the car, although I haven't wrapped up all of them. The car runs flawlessly, and got slightly over 26MPG driving home. Clean title, in my name.

"The car makes 454 WHP on a very low reading dyno and very recently had some work done by MaximumPSI (all new custom exhaust, piping, replacing turbo...etc). The bill came out over $6,000.

Engine:
-454 WHP 410 ft/lb at 15 PSI on a Superflow Dyno (reads lower then dynojet)
-.140 MLS headgasket
-APR2000 Head studs
-Treadstone Manifold
-Precision Turbo SC61 A/R .63
-Tial 38MM wastegate
-Custom Wastegate and Intake Piping built by MaximumPSI
-Custom NickG tune from MaximumPSI
-Custom stainless steel exhaust built by MaximumPSI
-42# injectors
-Walbro 255 High pressure fuel pump
-M50 Manifold

Suspension:
-Brand new Hankook Ventus V12 evo tires, 225/45 front, 255/40 rear
-15mm front, 20mm rear spacers
-Koni Adjustable Shocks
-H&R Springs
-Front/rear tower reinforcement plates
-RSM replaced at 75,000 miles
-IE subframe bushings
-Fresh alignment (well, toe, anyway)

Drivetrain:
-Southbend Stage 3 Clutch
-Shift Pins recently serviced
-New Guibo Replaced
-2.93 LSD Differential rebuilt at 92,000 miles and upgraded to a 40% Lock
-Brand new Finned Diff Cover

Maintenance/misc:
-Kicker CVT65 subwoofer installed
-Oil is changed every 3,000 miles.
-All belts, waterpump, thermostat replaced at 75,000 miles
-Rotors and brake pads replaced at 90,000 miles
-Guibo was replaced when clutch was installed
-Valve Cover Gasket
-Spark Plugs replaced
-Wheel Bearings
-Rear Shock Mounts
-Fuel Pump and Fuel Filter replaced

Exterior:
The exterior is in no way pristine or perfect. A car with 92,000 miles will most likely not be perfect. There are dings here and there on the driver and passenger side. These are very minor but one thing that I'd like to point out is the front bumper. First, there are several rock chips and slight cracks at the bottom of the bumper (pictures below). A few years ago, I was parked and there was a truck that parked where his bumper kissing my bumper which caused some scrapes on the bumper. I would recommend someone replacing the front bumper or have it repainted. Other then that, the paint is in great condition. For anyone that is going to pick up this beauty, I will have this car professional car detailed. I would give the exterior a 7/10.

Interior:
There are no rips in the interior. The interior is actually in great condition given the age. I would give it a 8/10."

Now, onto the bad.

-As mentioned, the car has typical dings/scratches for a 13 year old car.
-The rear window has a crack and is taped up. I was planning on picking up/installing an eMiata window, although I haven't yet. With a deposit, I'd be willing to install this for the new owner prior to pickup.
-A tab is broken on the passenger headlight. I can likely fix this before the sale, though.

- I bought the car under the impression the subframe was solid, and admittedly didn't thoroughly look it over as well as I should've. When the car was getting aligned after I bought the tires, I did spend some time under it and found one popped weld. The car has no clunks/vibrations/odd noises/etc, and drives straight as an arrow.

With a car with this kind of power, the Randy Forbes' kit is basically a necessity. I had anticipated doing this at some point, just not a month after purchase. I really don't have the time, energy, or patience to deal with this at the moment, so I'm looking to sell the car. Realistically, the car needs fresh paint on the bumper, a new rear window, and the subframe kit to be a very, very solid, well-sorted, big-street-power Z3M.

I'm not in a financial need to sell it, I'm just in a position where it might be better to unload some stress. If the car doesn't sell, it'll get the Dr. Forbes kit at some point before Spring arrives, and will likely come back off of the market.

I'm listing it at $14,500. I might be interested in trades, but it'll be a pretty narrow window. With a bit of money into this to get it "perfect," it'll still cost less than other turbo/supercharged M's I've seen posted.

Below are some pictures, and I can certainly take more pics, videos, whatever potential buyers would like to see. In the past, I've picked up buyers of my other cars (LS1 Z3 that I had on here, for example) from PIT airport, and can certainly do that again. I've also had cars shipped to me, and can assist the buyer in having the car shipped (at buyer's expense.)

Please PM me any questions you may have, but please leave comments out of the thread.

Thanks!

It's a reinforcement kit that provides plates that are welded into the trunk floor, strengthening/stiffening the entire rear of the car, specifically the "weak" spot welds. It's a common thing to do on everything from stock 1.9L Z3's to autocross S54 Coupes to 454rwhp turbo Roadsters

Beautiful. I'd own that car in a heartbeat if I could. Would do an S52 turbo build over an S54 any day.

Thanks. It's rapidly approaching coming off of the market, I've talked to Randy a bit. I can't justify not driving it the rest of the season, and once it's fixed, it'll either hit the market at a higher price, or will come off altogether.
