DESCRIPTION:
I searched high and low to find this A3 3.5 years ago. It had exactly the options I wanted, namely:
- Ibis White Exterior
- Black Leather Interior
- 2008.5 (or newer) with the new TFSI engine (not older FSI engine)
- S-Line Package
- Open Sky Panoramic Sunroof
This configuration and options makes for a wonderful combination, and one that is not easy to find. After finding this, I flew across country and drove it home (2300 miles), getting to know it well along the way. I'm so confident in the relative rarity of this car that I have provided a link to AutoTrader showing all 2008-2009 White A3 2.0T DSG across the entire US, and know there will be only a couple, if any, that have all of these items. AutoTrader A3 Search Link. Be careful of ads that take photos hiding the fact they don't have a sunroof, or don't show an engine photo which could be the old FSI one. Most will have beige interior. The car is currently under Audi CPO Warranty which runs until July 2014 (non-transferable). I'm tall (6'3") and fit great in this car. One of the first things I noticed when I sat in an A3 when it first came out was that I could "sit behind myself". The rear seat has more legroom than my former S4. The hatchback/wagon cargo space makes for a very versatile car while still not being too big. Overall it's a great combination of sporty and utility, with a likewise balance of good power and good fuel economy. I've been extremely happy with this car and will be sad to see it go. I've ordered a new Audi and need to make room.
