on the link that you provided with all the mods on the car, you stated that the car will be getting a new build motor, did that ever take place? that Is a lot of power for the stock block...

The engine's bottom end is still stock with stock internals. The car has been driven with 1 bar 98% of the time. The new motor build has been put on hold since we're contemplating a completely new project.

I wouldn't be surprised if currently a couple of the rods are bent at this ^^^ power level.

 

I don't think blind speculation is really appropriate in a F/S thread like this...................

 

Maybe in a Supra or Z06, Metzger engine is a bit different.

Seriously? I can pull up a dozen Metzger's that I know of that have bent rods w/over 700whp, so get your facts straight.
