1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 with clean title. I am the second owner. It has 65600 miles, and I have maintenance records and receipts dating from 2003. The car is ALL STOCK except a boost gauge and stock replacement Bilstein struts. The car also had a newly remanufactured tranny put in under the original owner's extended warranty. See the picture of the receipt documenting this work. Needless to say, every gear shifts very smoothly, as it should with a 10k miles old transmission. The car was garaged its whole life and has never been to a drag strip or drag raced. I have used most of my free time restoring this car as a hobby. Over the last few years, I have replaced tons of parts. Here is a PARTIAL list:
- New Radiator
- New OEM driver side and passenger side engine mounts
- New OEM oil cooler and and oil cooler hoses
- New OEM thermostat
- EVERY SINGLE rubber coolant hose in the engine bay, including the heater hose
- New OEM upper strut mounts
- New OEM front sway bar endlinks and bushings
- New OEM crank pulley
- New Optima red top battery
- New OEM coils and IAC
EVERYTHING on this car works. The car is as complete as it came out of factory in 1997. There is also NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. Still not convinced? How about the fact that the car has original, uncracked dash vents? (In case you are not familiar with 3000GT's, these are notorious for cracking if the car is left under the sun).
The car is currently in New Jersey. I am looking to get $14,900 firm. No low-ballers please.

I definitely can, but someone contacted me on a different forum and asked me whether he can see the car on Saturday. He hasn't given me any details but if he is serious I think I have to let him see it first in consideration of him traveling down from MA.
I'll get back to you as soon as I hear from him - it should only take today.

Hah, same here. The response was even better... screw you buddy. Too good!
On another note, impressed seeing what the 3000gts can go for. Nice to see there's some value still.
