u're talking about the earlier battery charger only. the newer one is both the charger & maintainer. u can see the difference in the pictures as well.

Depends on your needs. The charger only operates at a higher amperage and needs to be unplugged once your battery is charged. The charger/maintainer will charge your battery to max capacity and maintain with a trickle charge so you can leave it plugged in indefinitely without harming your car or your battery. IMO, the charger/maintainer is well worth the extra money if your car is a garage queen or will be put in storage for the winter.

if u can use a V1 then it'll work just like it.

Don't forget the cig lighter has to be unswitched (always on). Otherwise the maintainer won't do squat. True for Porsches but don't know about the Lambo
