Up for your consideration is my 1969 Porsche with a small block chevy engine. As you can tell, the car is not stock… originally it started life as a 1969 Porsche 912 and has transformed over the years including a '78 Porsche 911 body. The prior owner, Jack did 99% of the work on the car and I have all the modifications listed below. The car has been featured on the renegade hybrids site in its prior color (has since been repainted in Carrera white). I have pics both before & after the color change as well as some from the paint process.
Since my ownership of the car, I've done a few minor things to get it on the road to enjoy it a bit then life got in the way. The biggest improvement I have done was to replace the entire front brake setup (details listed below).
The car was never tracked. Just driven as a pleasure car on sunny days. I have tons of pics of the transformation along with the documentation from the prior owner as well. The original '69 912 running gear has just over 93k miles on everything. The title is clean and I have it in hand.
Body:
- 1978 Porsche 911 Body
- 993 body kit (fiberglass)
- Whale tail
Interior:
- Custom gauges
- Race seats
Engine/Transaxle:
- Monte Carlo "R" engine (with decent street cam) with 4,638 miles on it since installed
- Stainless steel exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers
- Edelbrock 500 cfm 4 barrel carb
- Aluminum 5 core radiator
- Renegade Hybrids conversion kit
- 901 transaxle w/ 917 gears
Brake & Suspension:
- 30mm torsen bars in the rear & 28mm torsen bars in the front
- Large wheel spacers
- 911 "M" brake calipers
- Stainless steel brake lines
- Porterfield RS-4 brake pads
- Sebro vented rotors
Some extras I can toss in with the car as well:
- Front & rear car bra
- Car cover
- Brand new spare water pump (doesn't need it… just a spare)
- Brand new spare alternator
- Brand new oil pan gasket (has a "self-lubricating" leak happening on the current gasket)
- Full carpet set
- Extra electrical odds & ends
- Anything else I find for the car in the garage as well
While I'm more interested in an outright sale (price is OBO), I'm a sucker for an interesting trade or trade plus cash. Interests for trades would be other Porsches (air or water cooled), adventure bikes, or Swiss watches.
While the car is not perfect, it does run & drive and it's a lot of fun to run around town in.
If you have questions or you are interested in seeing the car, please send me a private message so we can set up a date & time that is convenient for both of us. Also, I'd be more than happy to provide references & feedback from other forums as well.

Drives nice. Exhaust isn't too loud but still has a nice aggressive sound so cruising around is pleasant. Clutch has been rock solid for me and the power is around the 200 hp mark is my guess. So a noted improvement over stock but still not crazy break stuff power.
