There are buyers out there who will pay top dollar for a car that's as mint as possible. Just wait for that type of buyer.

 

Hold out for your price. I just saw 2 03's today $54k and $57k. Somebody will appreciate your car and buy it.

 

With the problems e60 m5 owners are experiencing , vanos line failures, smg hesitation, hopefully you'll get some buyers who would rather have the e39.

Have you checked into the carbon build up many e39 m5 owners have complained about?

I own a e60 m5 but love the e39 looks.. now if i could only get the e60 performance in a e39.

 

You can. I rode in a Dinan S2 the other day. It had around 500hp and it weighs less than the E60. Since the E39 is a smaller car, it also felt more nimble. It had better performance IMO. Oh yes, it was a 6speed too.
