Ok here's the scoop:
It's my brother's go kart. It's a 2003 Rotax 125cc single speed (geared for about 83mph) on a DFM/Tony Kart chassis. He bought it at the end of '03, was planning on running it in '04. We brought it out to Westhampton once to break in the engine - which was done sucessfully for 1 hour. After that we got it home, re-tightened everything and put it in storage. It's been there ever since. Hasn't seen the light of day in a while. It was properly stored. My brother was going to race it in '04 but wound up racing for real instead, then we sold our excursion, had no way to get it to the track and never got out in it again. So basically it's as new, with a broken-in motor. The thing is out-of-this world fast! It's basically the same as a 125cc shifter with out the gearbox. This is a direct drive. It has electric start, a Mychron 3 lap timer/data logging unit (RPM's, speed, temp, etc.) and other goodies. Comes with stands, tool box and other stuff. If you're looking to have fun or do some serious karting - this is the way to go!! It was $6,000 new all said and done. He's asking $3,800 obo.
