1997 Ferrari 456GT V12 6-speed manual

Year: 1997
Make: Ferrari
Model: F456
Price: $78000
Mileage: 48000
Color: Blue Le Mans
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): VA
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

Very clean driver, five-owner car, mechanically flawless, extremely well maintained. I have owned this vehicle since November 2016 and have been driving it approximately 10000 miles per year. Light impact on driver door at some point during previous ownership, likely before 2004 – no mention in CarFax. Some repainted areas here and there as should be expected in any driver-quality vehicle.

Car needs absolutely nothing: all service is up-to-date with no deferred maintenance items. No effort has been spared to make this car mechanically as perfect as a 22 year-old vehicle can be. A detailed maintenance history folder is available and contains complete documentation starting in 2004.

  • VIN ZFFWP44A5V0107635 (Assembly No. 24486)
  • Le Mans Blue with Cuoio interior and blue carpeting
  • 6-speed manual
  • 48,xxx miles (car is being driven frequently: miles will accumulate accordingly)
  • Bosch Motronic 5.2 engine management with OBDII
  • Custom aluminum radiator
  • Custom handmade cat-back stainless exhaust (with bonus epic sound!)
  • Scuderia Rampante upgraded coolant hoses
  • No sticky parts/ buttons
  • Tool kit and jack in original leather cases + original Owner's Manual
  • Three keys + two master (red) and two slave (black) remotes + original PIN code card
  • Spare full-size OEM front rim with tire (to keep in the garage: won't fit in the trunk)
  • Period brochure and North American launch brochure
  • Detailed service history since 2004
  • Clean CarFax
  • Up-to-date maintenance with fresh belt service, all fluids and filters, new tires (April 2019)
  • Realistically priced at $78,000

The following is the extensive list of items that have been performed and addressed under my ownership (all receipts are available):

  • Both window regulators have been rebuilt by F1 Imports and are operating perfectly
  • Replaced passenger-side window control ECU - DIY
  • Replaced both front door speakers - DIY
  • Replaced both front rotors and brake pads (rears are well within specs)
  • Rebuilt fuel sender and restored to full functionality
  • Recovered instrument pod leather (re-wrapped with new leather)
  • Recovered rear third brake light leather (re-wrapped with new leather)
  • Replaced trunk weatherstrip - DIY

  • Replaced serpentine belt (December 2017)
  • Changed engine oil (Shell Rotella T6 5W40) + filters - DIY (January 2018)
  • Changed transmission oil with Mobil1 75W90LS - DIY (January 2018)
  • Replaced engine air filters - DIY (January 2018)
  • Replaced battery - DIY (February 2018)
  • Replaced trunk lid struts - DIY
  • Replaced alarm siren (internal batter failed on original unit) - DIY
  • New Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires (March 2019)
  • Fully serviced with belts + tensioners (Hill Engineering), oil + filters change, transmission fluid (April 2019)

Yes, I am very meticulous!

This car has been very reliable under my ownership and the extensive list above was carried out to correct items that had been overlooked by previous owners. All vehicle buttons, switches, systems, etc. work as intended. This car needs absolutely nothing.

Again, this vehicle has received in April 2019 a full maintenance service that includes four new Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires, fresh engine oil, oil filters, fresh transmission fluid, as well as new belts + tensioners.

This 456 is ready to be driven cross-country at a minute's notice.

Please PM for additional information about this exceptional vehicle or to get in touch with me directly. I have LOTS more to share including many additional pictures, service records, Carfax, etc.

OP here.

I am potentially interested in a trade toward a 2005+ Aston Martin V12 (DB9 or Vantage V12), 2+2 (I need a back seat, however small they are in these cars), 6-speed manual (a must). OK with "higher mileage" (up to 50k), and even with a few repainted areas here and there (provided the work was done flawlessly). Open to a variety of colors.

Please PM if you want to discuss.
