Carfax reports front end damage (Minor). Here is the deal on this.... The damage reported after I bought the car and is noted on the carfax that it was from something that reports about 8mos prior to my purchase. Carfax is known for having lagging data on these things. In short my purchase carfax was clean and when I recently looked at it in preparation for sale this came up. When I bought the car there was no sign of damage or paintwork to the front. In fact the PPF on the car was yellowing so I had it replaced. The front passenger wheel had curb rash pretty bad and the tire had a little chunk out of it. Both were replaced for my purchase. Talking with the dealer about the carfax we both agree the damage reporting is likely tied to a claim from the previous owner for the replacement of the wheel and tire. (pretty sure he pocketed the cash since the dealer had to replace the tire for me and refinish the wheels lip (about 4 inches of curb rash)
I have owned this car for almost 5yrs. Its been virtually trouble free. I did have a oil leak last year that was covered under warranty and the billing from the Audi Dealer was about $2k total (charged to insurance), the majority was labor from memory. No leaks or issues of any kind since.
It’s an AWESOME car and REALLY hard to move away from, Hands down the best car I have owned and that is what has made this so hard to consider replacing. Deep inside I want to try something new so Im taking the leap.

haha. Sure. Hope you and your family are doing well.
Im going to give Mclaren a try for a bit. Drove one a few years ago and I was hooked.

Thank you so much. I really like this build, nothing too flashy or over the top. Just nice and clean with the heart of a beast
