Color: Black
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): FL

If you're interested, this is in the Orlando, FL area.

2014 Porsche Cayman
$59,850
3.8L X51 Engine Conversion (991 GTS engine - est. 465HP with supporting mods)
Manual Transmission

The chassis has ~11.3K miles on it and the engine has roughly ~1K miles on it. I had planned to track this car but with a 2 year old and a new baby that arrived, my opportunities are pretty much gone for the next several years and my priorities need to shift. It makes a perfect street car as well with low miles, no accidents, and proper maintenance it’s entire life. Always garaged and a non-smoker. This car has easily $60K in just parts/upgrades. Obviously a lot of labor involved in the entire process as well that could run $25-30K. This car is significantly more powerful than the 981 & 718 GT4s and is quite a bit quicker. It will probably save you a good bit on insurance and taxes too. No shortcuts were taken in this build, all professionally installed with OEM perspective.

Other Upgrades:
  • OEM GT4 Front Bumper, Lip, DRLs & all ducting and body panels
  • OEM GTS Tail Lights
  • TWL Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser
  • TWL Carbon Fiber Duck Bill Spoiler

I don't but I can grab it via the VIN. The only options it had were heated/cooled seats and the dual zone climate control.

Sorry forgot to post the VIN. I'm the 2nd owner, no accidents, non-smoker, always garaged.

Where was the engine conversion done? Receipts available? How was the donor 3.8 sourced?
Just curious as I noticed the plates, was this car originally in NC?

The conversion was done at Flat 6 Motorsports & HBI Auto. I have most of the receipts, would just need to collect them. The 3.8L was sourced from MB Motorsports out of Port St. Lucie, FL. It had 28K miles on it out of a wrecked 2015 911 GTS. We did a refresh on it, replacing gaskets, seals, spark plugs, water pump, belts, wear items etc. before putting it in. Yes, I use to live in NC but moved down to FL a few months back.

ended up digging in on this because I like the build so much, and found the build thread.
https://flat6motorsports.com/pages/f...b9727c96&_ss=r

seems like a very 'GT4 touring' type of build. super cool.
