No, going to keep it for the time being. The car is just so much fun to drive even thought I have not been able to drive it much over the last few months. Have a hip problem that is slowly getting better and not going to need surgery as I thought and that is the reason I was putting it up for sale.

private party sale so no tax in many states
you have an odd definition of “many”. Only 4 states don’t collect tax on private party sales: Arizona, Georgia, Hawaii, and Nevada. (Plus Montana that everybody knows about, and “many” states are cracking down on)
how many miles now?

Drove it to pizza the other day, 614 as it sits in my garage.

So, to be clear: you parked the car for a year and only put 14 more miles on it but doubled the markup from 20 to 40k over sticker? Are you aware the market is declining, your car is a model year older, and latest model year cars on lots aren't moving at 40k over?

"Many" states require a bill of sale, under penalty of perjury, signed by the buyer and seller. Texas takes the higher of a documented BoS or "standard presumptive value" which is the Texas market rate for similar car sales.

I have an allocation for a 2023 GT3 and would rather give it a shot at selling it before trading it in and letting the dealer make money on it. But this time I will not be getting the CF buckets.. Plus in AZ we get the sales tax credit when we trade in a car so I would see around almost 15k in sales tax savings on the GT3, so I am pricing that in to my sale. If you can find one sitting on a dealers lot for less then I suggest you buy it, If not 152k is my asking price and like all things it is negotiable.
