1961 356 B Roadster Serial # 89189 in Sunflower Yellow with Tan Interior and Top

Car underwent a complete ground up “bare metal” restoration a few years ago. Paint and bodywork were completed in Southern California and top and interior were accomplished by Autos International. Due to a couple of relocations by the owner, the car was placed in storage, only recently being taken out with final assembly completed. It is now ready for many years of driving pleasure.

Exterior: Body was completely stripped to bare metal, bodywork/rust repair completed before a coating of epoxy primer was applied to completely seal all body surfaces. Car was refinished with Glasurit coating and buffed to a high gloss shine. Exterior chrome trim was re-plated or replaced. Door locks were reconditioned with new lock cylinders and new keys. New Roadster windshield, trim and rubber seals have been replaced by PCNA restoration shop in Atlanta.

Interior: All work was completed utilizing original German materials. German square weave carpeting complements the tan interior complete with leather seats. All gauges were restored to original condition by Hollywood Speedo and a Nardi wheel was added. Original Hartz cloth material was used in complete rebuild of the top. Matching tonneau cover is also included.

Engine: Car is powered by a late 356 SC engine reworked with oversized pistons and cylinders, reconditioned heads, a new cam and dual Weber carbs for increased performance. Engine is coupled to newly rebuilt transmission, and both have less than 250 miles. All electrics are in excellent condition and powered by a new Y n Z wiring harness.

Undercarriage: All brakes have been rebuilt complete with new hoses, rebuilt cylinders and brake shoes. Koni shocks were added for very stable sports car feel. Underside is complete with German Wurth undercoating. Tool kit and reconditioned jack is located in the front trunk area. All tires and after-market wheels are new and original painted wheels are included in sale.
