*SHIFTER IS SOLD*
I bought this B&M short shifter (top version) for my 996 for $199 and had it installed by the great guys at Lucent. After using it for short time, I decided that I (especially my wife) preferred the easy stock shifting feel better than the more aggressive short shift feel.

** For those of you who don't know, if you install a B&M short shifter you apparently have to cut some of the spacer/bushings for it to fit in the stock shifter assembly. This does not cause a problem unless of course you ever want to switch back to stock. If you do, then you're screwed and you'll have to buy an entirely new stock shifter assembly which is not cheap. The best solution to avoid this problem is for you to buy a B&M shifter with the entire 996 shifter assembly included, which is what I'm offering.

With this entire B&M short shifter already installed in the shifter assembly it should be a much more simple drop in installation as well. I'd like to recover half of the costs of installing and then uninstalling the shifter. I'm not charging extra for the actual stock assembly.
