FS: HRE 845R Wheels(C4S/996TT/GT2)
Hi Guys,
Well I am parting my car out and one of the big items to go is the HRE's! These things draw attention everywhere they go! They are off the car and ready to ship! I cleaned them up yesterday and waxed the centers and polished the lips and they are looking good! They were on my car for around 15,000 miles so they have the rockchips on the centers and lips you would expect for that type of mileage, but no bends or scratches! They are 8.5F and 11R with a 2" lip front and 4" lip rear! They have Michelin Pilot Sport 2's mounted on them... The fronts have about 30-40% remaining (see photo below), while the rears need to be replaced now (cords are showing on one). One of the rear lips has some chrome pealing off of it. It is not enough to bother me so I never had it replaced, however, there is a fellow forum member that was willing to rechrome it for around $300 (see photo below for that also).
Pictures:
(The next 2 photos were taken before they were cleaned up and polished btw)
The wheels alone were about $10,000 new!! Asking $5,000 OBO for these WITH the front tires which have a few thousand more miles to go!
Regards,
Evan

I am asking $5,000 for them (which is half of the original MSRP of just under $10,000).

Evan,
I think he may have been a little abrupt with his statement. My thoughts were:
- $4000 for 19" HRE 845's with tires- Fantastic deal
- need new front tires soon- still a good deal
- need rear tires now- ok deal
- chrome is starting to flake and peel plus dealing with HRE for service- may be not such a great deal after all- but still way under retail!
A person who wasn't looking for the lightest wheel and a sticky tire could purchase a new set for $3500-$4500. Now nowhere near the quality of an HRE with Michelin Pilot Sport 2's, but still new and not someone's headache.
Glad you finally sold them, really sad you had to part out the car!

AMG ETR]I can see your logic... $10,000 wheels new for $4,000 used... Terrible deal...
Well anyway they are SOLD!
