1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster, a classic
This is such a cool little car. I've owned it for 13 years. It was my daily driver when I was in college and then during medical school. The past seven years it has sat in the garage neglected, only to be driven a few times a year...so I'm selling it. Needless to say, my wife is thrilled.
It is located in Houston, TX. I posted it on ebay. No reserve. The starting bid is $4000, which is what I paid for it in 1993!

Thanks,
Chris

What an awesome little car. I would totally buy it, but I'm already working on fixing up an 85' CelicaSupra. Pre 85' import cars are definitely gaining in popularity these days. Good luck with the sale!

I have a feeling you are going to regret it, but I see you own two! I own a '72 510 that I could never part with. I also drove mine all through college and purchased mine in 1994. It's slowly becoming a vintage racer. Good luck with the sale, and hopefully it will go to another Datsun enthusiast.

Chris,
Good luck with the sale! I know you take good care of your cars! Haven't seen you around in awhile!

Thanks guys! I think y'all are right...I will regret it as the Datsun Roadster market has yet to mature. There are very few of these rolling around, and fewer in decent condition. Once they get "recognized" by the mainstream, the prices will soar. Currently they are on par with MGB and those aren't rare or exclusive at all. I've been told that in Japan it would easily sell for $30K. Anyone got a Asian transport connection??? At any rate, I feel that it's time for it to go to someone who can enjoy it like I once did.
