GT2's are 18X12 rather than 11 and I believe the fronts on the GT2's are also a 1/2" wider. The GT2's are also solid not hollow. The GT2's have a really nice offset and you can run 315's in the rear and really fill out the the four corner's.

GT2 wheels are solid. They were built that way for a reason.

I spoke to the a Porsche rep and he told me they wanted the GT2 to have a stronger wheel and decided to build them in solid form.

Crazy i was under the impression people loved them for the track bec ause they were still hollow and light but wider for a better tire, hmm! I could have sworn Tom Kerr mentioned it, i could be wrong!

Just grab the back of a spoke. If it's grooved, its solid. If it's smooth, it's hollow.

"Sorry for the late chime in was out of town!!
Just my experience, I run the GT2 wheels (no spacers or anything) with the 235/315's. I have had both MPS2's and cup tires. As you can see by the avitar my car is as low as it can be. I personally have NO problems all. Although the GT2 has the rear fenders rolled at the factory ours do not and do not (by my experience) need to.
Remember also I run -1.75 rear camber. The car is both street and track driven (hard) and no problems. those wheels are an awesome track wheel and can be had for 1-1.5K.
Also remember they are solid not hollow so somewhat heavier.
I love them. (Your results may vary)"

tom

Martin, I quoted this from one of Tom's post's. They are definately heavy but a great wheel and I feel the car's performance has improved greatly over the 19's. I just got a new set of mps2's today and will put them on tomorrow.

Jas, thanks for the info.

GT2 wheels are solid, stronger and wider than the hollows. Alows you to be able to run 235's and 315's. About 6 lbs heavier than hollows per wheel.
