The 997 narrows bodies use a 67mm offset with 19x11 rears, the 997 wide bodies use a 51mm offset. So these wheels will work with a wide body 996/997 with spacers, but as newport996 stated it will be a very tight fit on a narrow body. You will probibly have to keep a moderate ride height and roll the fenders.(and it still might rub!)

The dent looks like a slight bent on the lip... probably just the angle of the picture....
With your Boxster setup, did u have to roll the rear fender or does it clear perfectly ? Will it work if the Boster is lower than your setup ?
Would you consider trading for a set of 18 BBS LMs ?

Boxter's and Cayman's run the same offsets. If these fit a Boxster without spacers, then they will fit a Cayman without spacers as well.

I am running spacers on my Boxster.
I just test fitted the wheels on a Cayman S today and they need the spacers to get the clearance...although it seems as though the rear fenders on the Cayman S are actually a bit wider than my Boxster. I put the wheels on with the same spacers and he had more clearance on the fender than I did.

Your correct, I missed the "S".
A 1/2" spacer should work!
