FS: 2000 Ford Mustang Cobra R no. 71 of 300
We are going to get rid of our 2000 Mustang Cobra R to make room for some other new toys. I am sure that there won't be much interest on this forum, but pass it on to anyone who may want this car because this is a perfect example of one, and it is a VERY rare and desireable car.
The car has about 6700 miles on it, and it lives in our private museum among other classics. The car has NEVER seen rain, and has never been driven hard what so ever. It is in perfect condition with no flaws, and it is in pristine show quality. This car is Number 71 of 300 built world wide.
It would make for a great track car or collectors car. I would not suggest this car for daily driving as it has no radio or A/C from the factory!
PM me if you are interested.
Asking $58,000 o.b.o.

thats wierd! It was probably fake, unless it was extremely rare, because Cobra R's only came in that Orange Red Color! None the less, it is a great car, and with the amount of driving experience and track experience I have, I can honestly say it would make an unbelievable track car, but in a totally different way than a P-Car.

I was going to purchase one like the one for sale, but was told by the dealer goodluck finding parts if it breaks down. So, I passed!

Purty! I unfortunately witnessed the demise of one a few years back on an Angeles Crest Highway run...sad day. I was in my S4 Biturbo back then...good memories except for that Cobra R getting banged up!

i remember my boy had one in his show room back in 2000. I went in was all ready to buy it.. Then told me it came with NO:
A/C
Radio
Rear Seats... And cost 40k more than a GT
So i bought a GT and smacked 40k into her.. that thing could run circles around the Cobra R
But being what it is.. Its a Great car.. great for a collector.

yeah it is purely a collectors car! It is nice to drive, but it is definetely not DD material by any means. So, weekend warrior, garage queen, collectors car, or track car are about its only uses!
I don't know why the bumper is like that, but thats how it comes!
