to the OP. I look for them every now and then but for pristine condition E30's they are in the mid 20's. It looks like atan888 is putting a lot of work into his so i was just curious what that would go for.

The thing about e30 M3s is that they cost a lot of money to deck out - far too much to ever get what it is 'worth' when you sell it. For example, the engine in my car by itself cost more to build than the entire car could be sold for if I put it on the market as-is. Along with all of the other parts, its replacement value is so far above its actual value that many people will not sell them.
I would imagine that there is over $50k in my M3, I would probably sell it for $40k but nobody would ever offer that. The highest serious offer I've had was $30k but to me, its just not a car I want to part with.
