certainly not a jeep and the last time i checked, we're online in a FS section of a car forum

what i like about this FS section is that it's real people selling to other real car nutz people. don't come up with a hyped up retail listing. come at it with a smaller wiggle room to keep things a bit more honest.

not a criticism on the seller or anyone else... just found the stealership asking price out of place here.

 

ben...I'm guessing you haven't priced Jeep SRT8s lately? $39k really isn't that out of line, especially not for one with decent mods. Most are selling in the $36-$38k range, stock. Either way, why crap on his thread?

Its a jeep but a jeep SRT8 with alot of very cool things that are very un-jeep like the 6.1 liter hemi under the hood.

The dealerships are asking anywhere from 42-45K for used SRT8's and asking $55K for the new one's some even trying to stick on a 5k premium! Which i agree is insane especially for used SRT8's and those are stock. This car is babied and has some great mods. im not asking a out of this world price and i think when you were selling your M3 you also wanted a fair market value for the car with mods. which as a fellow M3 owner I always gave the best wishes. If you dont like my jeep thats fine, but its a kick *** ride and its a good price.

O don't mind Ben..... this is standard fan-fare from him, even from his time spent over at M3F.com.

Ben we all got opinions man, but I will venture to say that never is opinion appreciated in FS thread unless its of a positive demeanor. Ya, this is the internet and blah blah blah....... its called courtesy friend, and you need to learn how to show a little every now and again.

People are willing to show it to you when you sell something. Show it back and don't be such a *****.

Does it have a hitch? I didnt see one with the exhaust there.

If there is a hitch, or can get one.....what is the towing rate. Im just thinking it would be a hot set up for my drag boat.

 

Nick dealers are giving away Jeeps and STR8's can be found all over the country at nice discounts off MSRP FYI.
A guy in my office just got a new 07's SRT8 at 7k off MSRP.
Adjust the price accordingly and you should be able to sell it fast since it is great looking all blacked-out

 

nick, i got nothing but love for ya so i'll keep my mouth shut from hereon. my bad if it was in poor tate. i hope you get every penny you deserve, but i'm also coming at it from the 6speedonline perspective as a member here.

i'm a huge fan of this site, particularly the FS forum. so many cool cars come thru esp the private sales. heck i bought my 996 c4s from a member here and i'm in love with the car.

but to price this car where it's at even if it is at asking price is... dude SRT8 resale absolutely suck ask me how i know.

anyways, i love this particular jeep so again, if i was in the market from one, you'd have an email from me playa.

The truck is for sale which in my mind means open for negotiation! Come with the price you'd like to pay, ill come with the price id like to get and we meet in the middle, its a unique truck with cool mods and will be a great addition to someones driveway!
