How does the torque converter impact the NVH levels under daily driving conditions, and how does it behave on the track and drag strip?

These used modified 996TTs represent the best value in sports cars right now.

 

Daily driving conditions are fine. We enjoy the car on the street.
Only ran the car 2 times at the strip. Once I ran it and once the wife ran it. Works great.

Any rate, I'm looking to get into a 996TT and I'm interested in yours. Haven't driven an auto TT, but I'm also kind of considering a CLS 55, so I figure a TT auto, less 1000lbs and with 250 more HP ought to be fun!

I've purcashed a couple cars from VA, out by Dulles. Where are you located?

I'm in Atlanta, but I have buddy who works in VA during the week. If I can arrange it with him, could we set up a time for him to come look at it?

Yes, I had a LPE TT Vette with over 1000 HP.

I am in Leesburg VA. About 25min from Dulles air port.

The car is very easy to drive with the auto but still very fun. ( and fast )

 

Who did the installation and how many miles on the Gt700 upgrades?

Not sure on the miles. Maybe 3-5000 miles.
