yeah abdullah saw that.
i am thinking about switching the fabs with the pse for a few reasons.
the tips are kinda crooked on the fabs, they are not that loud (i havent compared them side by side to the pse yet though).
and also my techart diffuser is a tight fit with the fabspeed tips.
my friend is gonna get his pse equipped car any day now so i am hoping his car is not much louder and then i will try to sell the pse.

i dont think the tips have anything to do with it.
it is the mufflers.
its just that the tips end up being crooked.
i think if i try harder and loosen all the bolts then try to align everything i can do a better job, but it was much easier with oem or the AWE.
i will sell just the mufflers if you'd like.

My fabspeed tips were crooked too. I brought it to my local muffler shop but it was still a little crooked after they did their best to fix it. Fabspeed claimed that that their tips are "adjustable" which i'm not sure if it's true. However i have to agree that fabspeed tips are one of the nicest tips you can have for your 997's.
Gd luck on your sale!

Jay, you do understand that your oem tips are gonna be crooked too right?
if you put some work into it, you can get them much better, but they are not like the oem or AWE which you just bolt on and was pretty even on both sides.
they are adjustable, but one side is higher than the other, so i think i need to undo all the bolts and play around with the muffler itself.
they are a few months old and you can still comb your hair in any of the mirror finish parts. the tips for some reason dont show any wear even after driving unlike the oem.

I have "S" tips on mine and they were are a pain to get straight. However if you persist it can be done. Why they were designed this way, I'll never know...
