morel elate 3 way, 5 inch. purchased new. used for 4 months. just upgraded to supremo 2 way.

all pieces in working order. no defects or issues at all. system sounds excellent. have original box n alot of bits n pieces for install.

all pieces in great condition but have traces of install. all can be cleaned.
ex woofer housing has alittle residue from silicone. can all be cleaned.

very very good package. ran 220 watts per side into each xover and these scream! imaging and clarity is really exceptional.
requires some work to install. nothing crazy. any good shop can get these installed in 996 turbo (for sure...any other car please double check)

sells for 1200 new on woofer etc which is priced well for online car stereo.

msrp is 1500 i believe.

How did you have the speakers configured? Door only, Dash and door only, or did you also use the rear speaker space for some of the components?

 

He had the tweeter/mid in the stock dash location, the midbass was in the stock door location

yup lke christian said. tweeters and mids install on dash. install is not big deal for a good audio shop. mids need some minor dremel work and tweeters can be installed with hot glue.
the door pods also need dremeling. overall, i was VERY happy with these. the way the sysem works, from 300 hz and up comes from dash. alot of people like this since it creates a high soundstage.

on all my previous systems i opt not to use any rear speakers since there is no need for it. ESPECIALLY when running 200+ watts RMS per side on an adequate front setup.

i do however have a sub for anything under 80 hz.

Have the x-overs already been tuned for the 996 with the
Accuset Alignment System?

Did these run off of the stock radio? I have the stock nav. Would they work with the stock amp/radio? Or is the impedance not compatible?
