FS: Porsche Navigation Nav DVD & 2.1 Firmware Upgrade Disc

The upgrade disc will bring all 2004/2005/2006 Porsche's to the current 2.1 firmware and will make all newer Porsche Navigation DVD's compatible with it.

Then i have the newest Navigation DVD as well.

PM me for more info.

This works for all Porsche models.

Sorry for the confusion, let me clarify, this will help anyone with a DVD BASED navigation system. I believe on Porsche, DVD based navi began late 2004 model builds.

Well, the simplest way for Navigation sake is to look at your navigation unit. On the unit itself, if it is DVD based...you will have the "DVD" logo on it. If unsure still, remove the disc and see if it says "DVD" on it.

If you're on a DVD system, you have ONE single DVD for the entire North America. If you are on CD based system, you have multiple discs for different regions of the country.

FWIW, I have an 05 996 and the PCM is CD-based. Otherwise, I would've already bought SLP's DVDs.

I have a 05 cab S with nav, but I got my PCM replaced a month ago since it wasn't reading discs. Did the new version come with the PCM replacement, or do I still have the old version?

Im assuming you want to know if you have the updated PCM or the older firmware? Well...what year is your disc? If its 10.2005 or older its definitely the old firmware.

The disc I have is 10.2006
