Just bought this (used) visual carbon fiber air collector from Rennworx, but it looks like I won't be mounting it after all. I've been recovering from ankle surgery (Jan 3), and had a doc appt last Friday. It appears that I will not gain sufficient use of my foot that will allow me to feel comfortable taking the car on the track. I'll be able to drive OK, but have lost flexibility and strength in that ankle (already had an issue due to nerve damage caused by a long-ago back injury). I already prepped the bottom of the collector for mounting. This is a pic of it mounted on Rennworx car.

$600 shipped in US, includes a full roll of 3M mounting tape ($40).

 

Nice piece. It just stays on with double sided tape? No problems pulling off?

 

Very strong double-sided tape, I'm told. As noted I didn't install it. Probably sold, BTW.
