brand new (unused) PSS9s for sale
The suspension is no longer available. Thanks to those who inquired about them!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a set of new in box PSS9s that I never got around to installing, so, I'm going to just sell them. I'm not really sure I want to change suspensions right now, and they're not gaining any value sitting in their box while I ponder what to do. =) I'd like $1700, but please just email or PM me an offer if you feel something else is fair. Oh, fitment is for a 996 AWD car, i.e. C4/C4S/Turbo. Thanks!
I have no pictures, but, they're literally in bubble wrap in the Bilstein box - so, any picture you find of new PSS9s is what these look like. =)

Hi, here's the part number from the box: F4-GM5-8848-H1
This is the part number listed for the C4/C4S.
I spoke with Bilstein this morning to confirm specs on both the C4/C4S & the Turbo part numbers, and here's what I was told for both parts:
C4 / C4S
f: 260 lbs/in main & 145 lbs/in helper
r: 515 lbs/in main & 145 lbs/in helper
Turbo
f: 260 lbs/in main & 145 lbs/in helper
r: 515 lbs/in main & 145 lbs/in helper
UPDATE: There are some valving differences between the Turbo and C4 part numbers, though spring rates remain the same. Will post details just for general information in another post, as these are no longer available.
All the PSS9 (and PSS10) data for the 996 he had showed also that the stock valving is designed to accomodate springs up to:
f: 350 lbs/in or 6.27 kg/mm
r: 650 lbs/in or 11.65 kg/mm
w/o revalving.
For comparison, the popular JIC Cross (medium) Kit uses 8kg front, and 12kg rear - implying either less traction up front at equivalent ride height, or the ability to drop the front end a little lower w/o bottoming out.
Revalving from Bilstein is available for $125/strut, for basically any damping curve desired.
Eibach springs can be used on PSS9s/PSS10s to season spring rates to taste, for those that have particular tuning needs.
For reference, a C2 M030 spring rate is about 170 lbs/in in front, and 260 lbs/in in back - according to this article: http://www.pca.org/panorama/sample_article_3.html
I imagine the C4S and Turbo stock springs might be slightly different from stock, M030 sport springs for the C2, but it looks like the PSS9 for both C4S and Turbo have appreciably higher final-rates than stock sport springs.
Hope this information helps!
Full specs on PSS9/10 for C4/C4S/Turbo are listed here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...d.php?t=136944

It is refreshing to see so much helpful information related to what you are trying to sell. I hope others take note. I get so frustrated with some people, especially on Craigslist, that will advertise "19 inch Porsche wheels", as if there is only one kind and size. Good luck with the sale of your PSS9's.

Thanks. I should have posted more in the original post, but didn't have a chance to look up the information earlier. If anyone has any other questions, I can try to answer them.

I've updated my 2nd post with more accurate information, obtained from Bilstein, about data for both the C4S and Turbo PSS9 part numbers. Basically, the spring rates are equivalent.
