Ok, thanks for double checking!

I don't mean to step on anyones opinion....but I called Vivid Racing (they sell this model wheel) and these will not fit a 996NB. It is the rear wheels that are the problem.

I don't wish to argue in this thread either, but this is not a matter of oppinion, they either do or don't fit. In this case a 20x11.0 +55 rear wheel DOES fit a narrow body 996. Whether that fittment is to your taste or not is a different story. Some users may not care for the "flush" or more "aggressive" look of a wheel that sits even with the outside lip of your fender.

Here is a great guide to Porsche wheel fittments:
http://www.wheeldynamics.net/appguide.html

You'll notice that they show a 2000 996 C2 Narrow Body with a 19x11.0 +52mm wheel (even more aggressive than the Rinspeeds) and fittment is flush.

Bottom line, they do fit, but if you aren't sure if you'll like the fittment then go with more common "conservative" fittments for your car.

I guess use this as a free bump for the OP...and beautiful wheels BTW

BUT that wheel pictured only fits because of the ride height on that car. If your car sits anything other than US spec 4x4 height the only way you're gonna get an 11" rear wheel under a 996 narrow body is with a 63 or 65 offset.

In my book a wheel should "fit" no matter what the ride height is on a car.

These will FOR SURE fit any 987 Cayman/Boxter with mandatory use of the rear spacer Rinspeed provides. They also work on any 997 Carrera narrow body without use of the rear spacer. The fronts are optional on both applications for a more flush/aggressive look.

The only reason those wheels fit is because of the high ride height which avoids any rubbing, and more importantly because of the fact that it is stretching General Exclaim tires in 275/30/19 on a 19x11.0". There is no way a narrow body 996 can run these Rinspeeds with the provided 305 tires. Only way is to get narrower tires and stretch them.
