FS: valentine one radar/ laser detector
My valentine one is up for sale as I de-mod my car and prep for a TT. TT will get a significant upgrade in this area when I get it. V1s retail for about $400. Inlcuded is the unit (serial # 9111050866) windshield clip and cups, hard wire kit, and manual. I bought this straight from V1. $220 (paypal)shipped anywhere in USA.

What is a "significant upgrade" from a V1??? I've never heard of a better or more sensitive detector...

LOL - sorry. I'm thinking k40 with blinders or something similar - all custom installed. True, V1 is hard to beat - saved me at least twice. I want everything concealed in the TT.

v1 saved me twice today! Ka once and then I got painted with a laser and was doing 75 or so in a 65.... slowed immediately, not sure if he actually locked on me. No laser jammer on the P...:Lidatek on the M.
I am not impressed with the K40... seems like a major trade off in performance for concealment. But I am sure there are custom shops charing $3k+ that will tell you a k40+blinder is "best".

It's all about the timing in this for sale section, good deals get scooped up in minutes! The V1 is a great detector. Wouldn't work for me because I spend a lot of time in VA, but for most people you can't go wrong with it.

To state that a laser/radar detector is "good", based on how many times you think is saved you, is pointless. If you drive across country, or you drive to the grocery store once, what iare you talking about.
K40's franchise is based on obscenely priced mediocre goods, marketed to guys that have more money than sense- and are dealing with a product with virtually no specifications or ability to compare between brands.
You want a built in system and want to think it is the best because it is the most expensive? Cool, go for it..
