WTB - 996 Front Lip
Hi,
I don't have enough posts to post this to the correct forum. So, I am doing it here. I hope it is alright with the moderator.
I cracked my front lip (the black plastic piece) last night coming out of the parking lot and I only have the car for a week. Anyone has one for sale? I did a research, but none is for sale right now. If not, I guess I will
go to the stealership for a replacement.
Thanks,
TC

Is OEM the only option ?
I have a very steep (downhill) driveway and need to replace mine also. Was wondering whether anything more flexible than the OEM part exists.
Don't want to fork out 250$ on monthly basis

I have a C4S lip that was painted arctic silver but the paint is now beat up a bit. Honestly, if you were local you could come and pick it up for next to nothing but it's probably not worth shipping and it needs paint again. If anybody else wants it, come by and grab it and make a donation to some charity or something (but you have to promise to actually do it)...LOL

I figure that I am going to screw up a new one anyway, so I fixed mine by sanding the damaged area and adding a couple layers of fiberglass cloth. Once dry sanded and shot flat black. I need to do a bit of filler work to make look as good as new, but from 10 feet it looks better than it did before. Just an option.

After weeks of delaying buying an OE spoiler and almost putting down 3 Franklins, I found a company that has an aftermarket one. Check out Bayson R Motorsports at www.baysonr.com I bought the front spoiler for my TT for less than $150 delivered. Quality is very good and fitment is perfect. I hate hearing that $300 scrape like everyone else. Found this company while checking out P items on Ebay. Delivered the spoiler the next day.
I do not know if I can post this as a "New Topic" so I played it safe here. Let me know if I can post this in the 996TT forum
For the record, I am not associated with BRM.

Please post some pics when you're done. The quality doesn't look the best from the picture they show on their site, but that could be wax or tape or something.
