NO, it's designed to use the OEM components and replace the OEM Y-pipe and boost hoses, but is up-sized to the same diameter as the typical 700 HP Ford MAF intake systems that are out there...

I am running the Hitachi MAF from Evo currently. Is there still a way for me to use this? I am also getting a 75mm
IPD/RSS Plenum and throttle body but am not sure on the IC route yet...

 

Yes, as long as the MAF is in the original location that the Bosch MAF was...

 

Unfortunately not. It's located after the V Flow along the piping I believe... Oh well. Looks purty! Bump for ya!

 

If you don't have a "blow-thru" MAF, which I am pretty sure you don't (unless you have the Proto Kit), this will work fine. It enlarges the intake track from the intercoolers to the throttle body and is built to flow right into the 75mm throttle body. It re-uses all the factory connections. PM or email me a picture of your MAF and I can tell you for sure, but I am pretty certain this would work with your system.

Will this bolt directly onto total OEM configuration? What, if any, performance gains are to be had w/ the larger dia hoses? BTW, I purchased a 60mm exhaust from you earlier this year.

doktordyper, Yes - it is OEM cofiguration bolt-on. It is designed to flow into a 75mm throttle body. If you add a 75mm throttle body with the OEM Y-Pipe, the air is restricted to 70mm just before entering the new larger throttle body and this defeats the purpose of the enlarged 75mm opening. By installing a Y-Pipe that flows evenly into the 75mm TB, you eliminate the restiction and the air reaches the motor quicker and easier. This Y-Pipe should only be used with the larger 75mm TB. This Y-pipe was never dynoed before and after, but you can expect the improvements that a 75mm throttle body would deliver, then some. This is the same size plumbing used on the Proto 700 set-ups, except it utilizes the OEM MAF configuration vs. the Ford blow thru MAF.

Ari, the Larger throttle body sold for about $280.00, the last time I purchased one for a customer. Also, I can supply a new 75mm throttle body and even the 75mm IPD plenum with this Y-pipe if interested...for a completely upgraded intake track.
