No issues with Hitachi but there is more than one out there I'm told. Mine was originally from Evo and I'd like to try out a stock airbox with a stock MAF with Tony's (EPL) tuning. Even the Hitachi's are only good up to a certain HP point. I'm told that the reason many folks are using them is because of their durability, not for their superiority per se... In other words, with certain setups (like my old one), it made great sense and I never regretted the investment. With my new setup, I'm told that the Bosch is possibly a better fit and I shouldn't be concerned about blowing it...

 

Kato can you snap a couple photos of your hitachi maf setup im trying to figure out if mines been upgraded before and evoms doesn't have anything listed for pics.

That's because it is brand new, LOL! So is the one on my old motor that is headed down to BBi soon... I replaced it like 9 months ago, haha, oh well, it will be good for the new owner.
